Easter Bunny Banned from Moose Jaw After Cadbury Creme Egg Liqueur Incident

By April Mayfield

MOOSE JAW, SK - The Easter bunny caused quite a stir in Moose Jaw this weekend after a wild night on Cadbury Creme Egg Liqueur. The normally family-friendly character was spotted stumbling around the Town ā€˜n’ Country Mall, making inappropriate comments to the moms and attempting to reach inside a claw machine for toys.

“I couldn’t believe what I was seeing,” said local resident Betty-Lou Smith. “He was clearly drunk, and it was just not appropriate for children to see.”

After causing a disturbance in the mall, the bunny was eventually apprehended by mall security and handed over to the Moose Jaw police. He was given a breathalyzer test and found to be over the legal limit for bunnies.

“It’s really quite shameful,” said Moose Jaw Mayor Clive Tolley. “We had to ban him from the city for the safety of our citizens.”

According to sources close to the bunny, he had recently discovered the new Cadbury Creme Egg Liqueur and couldn’t resist its creamy and boozy charm. The incident has raised questions about the potential dangers of alcoholic Easter treats and whether they should be allowed on the market.

“We need to have stricter regulations around these types of products,” said local activist and mother of three, Sarah Wilson. “Kids look up to the Easter bunny, and this kind of behaviour is just not acceptable.”

However, the city has announced that the Easter bunny will still be allowed to hide eggs for children on Easter Sunday, provided he stays sober and is supervised by a responsible adult.

“We understand that the Easter bunny is an important part of the holiday for many children,” said Mayor Tolley. “We’re willing to give him a second chance next year, but he needs to understand that his behaviour will not be tolerated.”
